Underfloor Heating

Underfloor heating is not new, it goes back as far as the Roman times. Underfloor heating eliminates the need for unsightly radiators, and offers the freedom to design rooms in imaginative and creative ways by providing more useable wall space, and is ideal for rooms with limited wall space ie: loft conversions, conservatories and bathrooms. An underfloor heating system radiates warmth evenly across the entire floor space, heating the room evenly and eliminating draughts and cold spots.

It can be more economical to run than a radiator, as they demand low temperature rise output from the boiler or heat pump. They are ideally suited to achieving maximum economy from a ground source heat pump. Underfloor heating is much cleaner than radiator systems and reduces the air circulation within the room, minimising airborne dust particles.
